This is a message from Stockton schools. There are numerous road issues this morning. We have told our bus drivers to attempt to reach all bus stops. Bus drivers may be a little of schedule this morning. If your road has problems, consider bringing your child to school.

Please keep our high school softball team in your thoughts and prayers. Their bus was rear ended on the way to softball districts this afternoon. Parents have been notified, and students and coaches have all been transported to area hospitals for minor injuries and to be checked out just to be safe.
HS Softball District games today (Monday, April 29) are being moved to Jasper HS.

Shout out to Senior Kate Brown. On April 30-May 1, 2019, students from every state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands will come to Washington, DC to compete in the 2019 Poetry Out Loud national finals, an opportunity to win a grand prize of $20,000 and the title of National Champion. The semifinals (April 30, 9:00am-8:00pm ET) and finals (May 1, 7:00pm-9:15pm ET) will be webcast in their entirety.

Aaron Merrick receives his plaque for being named to the Missouri Scholars 100 Program. Aaron was one of 116 seniors from across the state to receive this award. Congratulations Aaron. The entire Stockton Tiger community is proud of your accomplishment.


The 8th grade 4x400 relay team set a new record last night at the El Dorado track meet. Their first place time was 3:59.77 breaking the old record by 3 seconds. Team members are Dakota Duncan, Colby Adams, Braden Postlewait and Jay Baxter.
Also setting new records were 7th grader AJ Scott in the 100 and 200 meter dash, and 8th grader Christoffer Dearman in the 200 meter dash.
The thrower’s relay was also won by Stockton. Team members are Hunter Connell, Heston Garver, Summer Kenney and Bell McGuire.
Great job Tigers!
