The 8th grade 4x400 relay team set a new record last night at the El Dorado track meet. Their first place time was 3:59.77 breaking the old record by 3 seconds. Team members are Dakota Duncan, Colby Adams, Braden Postlewait and Jay Baxter.
Also setting new records were 7th grader AJ Scott in the 100 and 200 meter dash, and 8th grader Christoffer Dearman in the 200 meter dash.
The thrower’s relay was also won by Stockton. Team members are Hunter Connell, Heston Garver, Summer Kenney and Bell McGuire.
Great job Tigers!

4th grade visited Whitesell's Camp Learned A Lot today. They wrote forest adventure stories around a campfire, practiced fractions with s’mores cards, read camping stories in tents, & reviewed other skills with camp fun. They are on the right trail for MAP test success next week!




Debbie Good, a thru hiker and backpacker shared her experiences with the KIDS class. She told of her tragedy that inspired her first hike. She taught them how to plan, which included using math to figure food, water and mileage as well as map reading skills.

This is a reminder - starting Tuesday, April 23rd- if you want to walk your child to class you need to park in the circle drive and check in at the office. Parents will not be able to come through the cafeteria in the mornings.

Third graders blended some yummy math and science today as they had to construct a home for a peep. Jelly bean and toothpick creations included models of geometric vocabulary. Students also wrote about their imaginary habitats and behavioral traits.




Stockton Little Tiger Preschool Easter Egg Hunt 2019



Advanced Biology and Science Club students toured Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium and Museum on April 17 as part of a Biology unit on animal taxonomy. Special thanks to Stockton Lake Sertoma Club for sponsoring this trip.

Caution tape and investigators could be found at SES today. Second grade students practiced speaking and listening skills by solving a "burglary." Students had to ask questions regarding clues that were found at the imaginary crime scene.




Due to the Stockton FFA Banquet being held on May 10th, we will be rescheduling Baccalaureate Service to May 13th. Service will still be held at First Southern Baptist Church beginning at 6 p.m.

Preschool enrollment is May 16th and 17th. If you know a child that will be 3 or 4 years old during the 2019-2020 school year contact 417-276-5143 ext 210. Four year olds are placed priority in the list.

Thursday April 11th is a busy night on the Middle School and Elementary campus. There will be a home softball game, home Jr. Track meet, and a 2nd grade PTO meeting. Please arrive early as parking may take a little longer.
