Optimist Club Bill Green Memorial Education Grant Winners
We would like to congratulate Alison Burns and Angela Pitts for being selected as the winners of the Optimist Bill Green Memorial Education Grant in the amount of $500.
This scholarship was not recognized at the annual senior awards ceremony. The Optimist Club has raised money for several years now to recognize our students for scholarships. We appreciate them very much.
Congratulations to these young ladies.

There's been some sneaky secret keepers at SES this week. Student leaders (and perhaps a few helpers) planned a "Reverse Tiger Pride Assembly" for the elementary teachers and staff. They were presented awards from students! Teachers also had to "come to the carpet" for a read aloud. Beautiful art work was created and displayed as students sang their version of "What a Wonderful World (School)." Even Dr. Crawford played his guitar and sang! Thanks kids for making the assembly so special!

Fourth grade had Band Day at the high school today.

Mrs. Finch had some great long jumpers at track and field day on Tuesday!

Stockton School District is doing and hat and jeans day fundraiser for Mrs. Matson and her family tomorrow May 9th. This is a message from the Matson family:
Sam Matson is 3 years old. He is strong and doing great right now. He has a brain tumor and spots down his spine. Doctors are taking great care of him. We are asking for prayers; otherwise, we have been so blessed to have our needs met. Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement during this time.

Seniors and senior parents: lunch charges must be paid before graduation.
