The offices of Stockton R-1 schools will be closed from July 1-5th. The superintendent’s office will be open on July 8th. Individual building offices will open back up on August 1st.

Next week (July 1st-5th) the administrative will be closed. The phone system and Powerschool will also be down intermittently due to upgrades. Thank you

4-5th grade Summer Journey students are learning about simple machines in science. Today they are making different levers with Fischertechnik building blocks.




Attention Summer Journey Parents: Today your child will be bringing home an attendance verification letter and a parent survey. All students that return the survey will receive a prize from the office. Also, address verification sheets were sent home last week. Address changes have been made, please let us know if further changes need to be done. Thank you.

Mrs. Crabtree's Summer Journey students enjoyed learning about some natural wonders in the US and took a few virtual field trips after studying them. They even created a bucket list of places they want to visit someday!





Reminder CARE mobile is at the school today. Immunizations and sports physicals can be done.

Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

On this 75th anniversary, SES Summer Journey 4th/5th graders learned about D-Day and the events leading up to June 6, 1944.




Stockton's Summer Journey first graders harvested some fresh peas and green beans this morning. They were planted in the school garden by them this spring. A few even took some home for their parents to cook for tonight's dinner!



Summer Journey - Art with Aptitude. 4th/5th graders in Mrs. Crabtree's class have been learning about various art forms and techniques. They designed their own hats last Tuesday. Later in the week they learned "batik" and made their own fabric design. Next week they will be dyeing their fabric. Follow up photos will be shared once they are complete.





The CARE Mobile will be here on June 12th. To make an appointment call the school nurse 276-3315 ext 222. Immunizations and sports physicals will be offered. Please note 8th grade students, 12th grade students, and Kindergarten students most likely need booster immunizations. Those immunizations will be required for school attendance in the upcoming school year.

Just a reminder that Stockton R-1 summer school/Summer Journey starts Tuesday, May 28th. Summer school times are 8:00 am to 3:25 pm. All students need to report to the elementary cafeteria in the morning. Cafeteria doors will open at 7:20. Breakfast will start serving at 7:25. If your student has not enrolled they can still do so on Tuesday. Attached are updated bus routes with times. We are excited about next week!!
