Elementary Parents: Open House will be Thursday, August 20th To better serve you, we are asking families to try to come during designated hours by last name if possible. A-G = 4:00-5:00 pm H-M = 5:00-6:00 pm M-Z = 6:00-7:00 pm Here are some keys changes that students will see this year at Stockton Elementary: 1) Building doors will open at 7:30. Students will report directly to their elementary classrooms. We will have staff available to help guide them from the bus or parent drop off. 2) Students will have the opportunity to eat breakfast in the classrooms. Be watching for information with meal prices and free/reduced lunches. 3) Students need to bring a water bottle with them each day. Each building has a touchless refilling station, but the water fountains are disabled. Classrooms will have bottled water for students that do not have a water bottle at the beginning of school. 4) Classrooms have been socially distanced. Table dividers are used when students are sharing small tables. 5)Touchless sinks have been installed in all bathrooms. 6) Lunches will be eaten in the classroom. Hot lunches will still be provided. 7) All classes will be using the Dojo for communication. Information will be handed out at Open House to help you connect with your child’s new teacher right away. 8) Parent pickup at the end of the school day will be in a carline format at the cafeteria doors behind the school. Carline maps will be posted on Facebook soon. Carline pick up cards will be given out at Open House. 9) Masks wearing is optional and not required at the elementary school when at level Green. It is not required, but encouraged, at level Yellow. 10) If you are unable to attend Open House, please contact your child’s classroom teacher before the first day. You may reach them through email, Dojo, or calling the elementary at 417.276.5143. Parents, thank you for being patient with us during the reopening period. If you have any questions about our changes, please contact the Elementary office. Even though we have several changes this year, we want to keep the school as normal as possible. As a staff, we are so excited to have our students back in the building. Even though things will be a little different, it will be a great year at Stockton Elementary School. GO TIGERS!!
