Stockton families- The weather is very unpredictable for the next several days. There may be a day that we close that is labeled an AMI day. This stands for alternative methods of instruction. If we have an AMI day your child will need to check emails and/or Google classroom from their teachers for school work during this day. The staff will be available by email, Google classroom, or DOJO throughout the day to answer questions. If you do not have internet access, do not worry. Your child can get the school work when we return to school. If you have questions please reach out to your child’s teacher or the office.

Good morning Stockton
Stockton R-1 WILL BE IN SESSION today Wednesday, February 10. We have seen some improvement on road conditions, but there are still some slick spots. Please consider leaving early and driving slowly for the conditions. It will also be COLD, COLD, COLD! Students may wish to stay inside their homes until they see their bus arriving, so bus routes may end up being a bit late. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we want to make sure our students aren’t waiting out in the bitter cold.
Please be safe! We look forward to seeing our students today!

Stockton Schools and EPCO will not have school February 9th.

Congratulations to our January MS Students of the Month..The character word of the month for January was PASSIONATE.
5TH Grade- Charli Burns
Charli is passionate about learning. She is a good listener and a hard worker. Anytime that she doesn't understand the objective, she will ask questions. If she feels she still needs extra practice, Charli will grab a chromebook during 7th hour and work on IXL. Charli has multiple things in life that she loves with her whole heart. She is willing to go after what she wants, she works hard, and she doesn't waiver from her values.
6TH - Lydia Cook
Lydia shows her passion for life through her enjoyment for her friends and her learning. In her quiet and positive manner, Lydia is kind, considerate, and caring to her friends and classmates. She helps where needed and listens with interest and/or concern. Lydia works diligently on every task assigned, making sure she is completing the work accurately and to the best of her ability. She is very conscientious and passionate about being successful. Lydia is also excited and passionate about every type of art project she is introduced to.
7TH - Katelyn Chism
I love how Katelyn is SOOOOO passionate about the Chiefs! There is never a doubt, when you see Katelyn, that she loves her football team (and especially Mahomes). She is cheerful and absolutely brightens up the room if she is allowed to talk about her team. Katelyn is passionate about the Chiefs, and then her grades. She comes in early on some mornings to review the lessons or do what she can to reinforce what she has learned in class.
8TH - Eve O'Brien
Eve is one of the most passionate students I have seen. When she approaches a project she is all in and excited. Every morning Eve has given up her time to make sure that we all stay safe and healthy. She volunteered to make sure that we all got a mask and a cheerful hello. Her passion for making others feel happy shows through - even when she's still sleepy! Thank you, Eve! We all appreciate your smile first thing in the morning, even if it's hidden under a mask!
