Congratulations to our MS Students of the Month. The character word of the month for November was TRUSTWORTHY.
5TH - Lilyan Davis
Lily is a very trustworthy student. I can depend on her to follow the rules no matter the situation. She is honest even when it will cost her laps at recess. I really appreciate her responsibility and maturity. She is a great addition to the 5th grade. Lily has always proven herself to be honest and trustworthy in all situations. This is something that I greatly appreciate about her.
6TH - Jenna Black
She is a light in my classes. She is honest and fair with her fellow students. Jenna is always willing to help others and has proven she can handle responsibility when asked. She is one of the most trustworthy people I know.
7TH - Vivianna Lopez
Vivianna is a very responsible student. I can always count on her when she is gone to come to me to figure out what she is missing. She is very dependable in all situations, and she is such a joy to have in class.
8TH - Morgan Nikodim
Morgan is just so incredibly reliable. I love how I can send her to do absolutely anything and I never have to worry if she took a side trip. She is honest, I will invariably put her down as a reliable student for my subs. This is my second year to have her in class and I so enjoy having her. She is more than deserving of this honor and being above and beyond trustworthy.

Congratulations Mrs. Carol Halley for being our MS November Staff Member of the Month. Comments from fellow staff members: Always answers my questions when I have them and is always willing to give me advice to help me better my classroom.
She represents what a Stockton teacher should be. She connects with the students. She has a way of drawing them in and getting them to learn. She is tricky like that!
She works with all students and comes up with very creative ways to help them understand the curriculum and what she wants from them. The students that struggle get the same attention but in different ways. She will give them activities that will allow them to be able to participate but also develop an understanding of what they need to know and how to access that information, be it book reading, writing, creating, coloring, groups and "on your own" activities.
As an adult I look forward to being in her class every day and learning something new everyday. I also can see that the students enjoy her as well. She is supportive of her peers, helps when she can, and is a team player. She would not agree with me but I feel she should be recognized for all she does and how she sets and example for everyone.
Thank you Mrs. Halley for all that you do at Stockton MS!
