School will be released at 12:30 pm today (Thursday, Jan. 11.) I hate to call school off based on a prediction, but the NWS is calling for a severe temperature drop and ice.

The Tiger Cares Market was announced yesterday and since that announcement we have had a beautiful response from the community asking how they can help. Donations to the market can be dropped off at the Superintendent's office during the week.
Donations can be any item on the list or in cash. When donating items such as detergent, smaller bottles or "pods" are best so they can be distributed easier to the student.

This is in the middle school hallway and worth sharing!

Middle school and high school students who need hygiene and personal care items can request them to be delivered to their locker discreetly to their locker. Thank you to an anonymous donor for providing funds to get the program started!

Polk County is conducting a manhunt in the Fair Play area. We have been in contact with law enforcement who have the search isolated to Polk County. Therefore, we will release school as usual. Bus drivers on the east side of Cedar County will make sure students make it in the door before going on.

Bus 2 will be running approximately 20 minutes behind this morning.

Happy New Year! We will see everyone tomorrow as school resumes. It looks to be very cold so bundle up and have contingency plans for little ones if buses run late.
