Starting tomorrow- August 16th- Road construction between the Stockton square and east Hwy 32 towards Bear Creek will begin. This may cause delays in the morning and afternoon for bus riders.

This is a message for Stockton Middle School 8th grade students. According to state law students entering 8th grade must have proof of vaccinations including MCV and TDaP - or an exemption on file. This will be in effect the first day of school.

Senior Vaccination reminder:
According to state law, all seniors must have the required MCV shot or an exemption on file in order to attend the first day of school.

Open House is this Friday (Aug 10th) from 6 pm -8 pm in all buildings. Preschool students will have open house at the preschool from 5:30-6:00.

Stockton Preschool has an opening for a Para-Professional for the 2018-2019 school year. The candidate must have a minimum of 60 hours. Please mail applications to Stockton R-1- Attention:Doug Crawford. 906 S Street Stockton Mo 65785. Applications can be found on the school website or picked up in the Superintendent’s office.

Stockton preschool still has student openings for the 2018-2019 school year. Please contact the elementary for more information. We are accepting 4 year olds first and will put 3 year olds on a waiting list.

These are the shot requirements for enrollment. You can fax your records to 417-276-5946. Students cannot attend school in August until all shots are up-to-date.


Reminder to students in Summer School- School will be in session Monday - Friday. 8:00-3:25. Doors are unlocked at 7:30.

Summer School starts tomorrow, Tuesday May 29th. Breakfast will open at 7:30 am and class will start at 8:00 am. Remember that perfect attendance means perfect. An absence may be excused however, the attendance is not perfect if your child is not there. Please make sure your child is in class everyday by 8:00 to qualify for the $100. All students will report to the elementary/middle school cafeteria each morning and will be released to their teacher from there. You can also look at the approximate bus pick up times. The office phones are busy so please be patient. All messages left on phones are checked. The teachers have a lot of fun activities planned for the students and there are several daily prizes given away.
