The English I classes challenged their figurative language skills in a "Missing Poets Escape Room" last week! Students put their analytical and problem-solving skills to good use identifying the figurative language devices used throughout 5 classic poems. The final clue required students to match the poet with the poem by identifying the major themes conveyed through each poem. The Escape Room made for an excellent Halloween activity!

Reminder: 9th Grade Starts the Registration Process The ninth grade is a great time for students to start the initial-eligibility process by registering with the Eligibility Center. The Eligibility Center recommends ninth grade student-athletes register with a free Profile Page at eligibilitycenter.org. Students should expect to spend 15 to 30 minutes to complete a Profile Page. If at any time the student wishes to play at the Division I or II level, they can transition to a Certification Account and pay the registration fee to begin the certification process. Students can find more information and resources about registering on the NCAA Eligibility Center How to Register page. If you have questions, please contact: Kevin Burns Stockton High School High School Guidance Counselor
