The Stockton FFA Chapter, in cooperation with the Cedar County Farm Bureau, participated in a program to help fight World Hunger. The chapter worked to package 6000 meals that will be sent to people in need in Tanzania. This is a great example of our community using agricultural to help others around the world.

Preschoolers are super thankful for our new playground equipment that was donated yesterday! Thank you so very much! Our kids love it and are getting lots of good exercise.

Parents. In order to answer some question as to how we quarantine and how we contact during a possible Covid exposure or a Covid positive case the district follows CDC Guidelines. They state that anyone who has been 6 feet or less for a cumulative total of 15 minutes will need to be quarantined.
The school will assist the health department in contact tracing and the health department will then decide who needs to be quarantined. The school will attempt to make first contact with these families. If you are not contacted by the school or health department then you are to assume that your child has not been exposed to Covid. An initial exposure will require a 14 day quarantine. If your child is quarantined the health department is not asking at this time that you get tested for Covid. They are asking you to check for symptoms of Covid during quarantine. If you have specific questions please contact the Cedar County Health Department. It is our goal to keep kids and staff safe, healthy and in school. We are taking many precautions to keep students socially distanced. If your child is quarantined you will be contacted by the school offices to give you directions for schooling during this time.

Covid Update- 5th grade will move to yellow until September 10th on the reentry plan. The rest of our district remains in green. Any new information may change this at any time.

This is to communicate that a 5th grade student at Stockton Middle School received a positive test for COVID-19 on Friday - August 28th. The student was last on campus August 26th. Students that had direct contact have been notified by the school. Any further directions will be given by the Cedar County Health Department.. This student did not ride the bus.
Privacy laws prevent us from disclosing any other information.

Welcome back from your 1st grade team and the teachers for the SHS Class of 2032!
