Prop Students First

IMPORTANT: Please read the entire post.

Dear Stockton R-1 Parent/Guardian,

This spring, your student(s) will participate in the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) Grade-Level Assessments and/or the End-of-Course (EOC) Assessments. Designed to measure academic progress and proficiency, the MAP Grade-Level standardized assessments are administered to students in grades 3 - 8, while the EOC standardized assessments are administered to high school students taking Algebra I, Biology, English II and Government. Students in grades 3 - 8 participate in assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. Students in 5th and 8th grade will also be assessed in Science.

The testing dates at each Stockton R-1 building are as follows:

Stockton High School

April 28, 29 (English II)

April 30 (Government)

May 1 (Biology)

May 7, 8 (Algebra I)

Stockton Middle School

April 30, May 1  (5th & 8th grade)

May 5 - May 8 (5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grades)

Stockton Elementary School

April 28 - May 1 (4th grade)

May 5 - May 8 (3rd grade)

According to the state testing window, all MAP/EOC testing must be completed by Friday, May 15.

All assessments, regardless of building level, will be administered in the mornings, so please be sure your student(s) arrive early and on time for the school day. Please avoid scheduling trips and/or appointments during days, or at the very least mornings, that your student is scheduled to test.

If you have any questions about the assessments, please do not hesitate to contact your student's teacher or the appropriate building office staff.

Thank you for your continued support of Stockton R-1 and our students!
