Stockton R-I School District
Board Candidate
Two directors of the Stockton R-I Board of Education will be up for election Tuesday,
April 2, 2024. Any qualified elector who wishes to announce himself/herself as a candidate of
said district, to be voted on at the annual school election should file at the office of the
Superintendent at 906 South Street, Stockton, Missouri. Filing will begin on December 5, 2023,
at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the district’s regular business hours, which are Monday
through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Filing will not occur on days that the school district
is closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays when the
school district’s offices will be closed: December 20, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. through December 25,
2023. Filing hours on December 26, 2023 will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Dean Pate is a director whose term is expiring. There is an additional vacancy. These are
three (3) year terms.
